Peggy Toppin

Director of Asset Management

Peggy Toppin is the Director of Asset Management for Evergreen Industrial Properties with overall responsibility for the operating and financial performance of the platform’s light industrial portfolio.  Peggy has over 20 years of asset management experience across all major product types.  Prior to joining Evergreen in 2014, Mrs. Toppin was Senior Vice President with VEF Advisors where she headed the San Francisco Bay Area region. Her career has also included positions with Lend Lease Real Estate Advisors and Equitable Real Estate.

Peggy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of California, Berkeley.

Henry Newhall

Senior Asset Manager

Henry Newhall is a Senior Asset Manager for Evergreen Industrial Properties whose responsibilities include the oversight of leasing, operations and financial performance for assets in nine markets across the U.S.  Henry has over 15 years of commercial real estate industry experience in multiple disciplines including portfolio management, asset management, finance, transactions and research.  Prior to joining Evergreen in 2015, he served as a Senior Vice President at Bailard Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of the Bailard Real Estate Investment Trust—an open-end diversified private REIT of approximately $600 million in total market value.  His career has also included positions with Morgan Stanley Real Estate and Prudential Real Estate Investors.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of California, Davis.  He is based in Evergreen’s Bay Area office location.

Matt Zimmerman

Senior Asset Manager

Based in Atlanta, Matt Zimmerman joined the Evergreen Industrial Properties as a Senior Asset Manager responsible for leasing, operations and the financial performance of Evergreen’s portfolio of Atlanta and Charlotte assets.  Prior to Evergreen, Matt spent the last 10 years as a Senior Vice President with Carter & Associates leading the asset management team for a portfolio of office, industrial and multifamily assets owned by Carter’s largest client.  With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Matt has also been involved in positions as an asset manager with Lend Lease Real Estate Advisors and Equitable Real Estate earlier in his career.

Matt received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of West Georgia.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
